Spunky is a mobile app that helps people in Israel identify and document unsolicited spam and marketing messages, and exercise their legal rights under the Communications Law (Telecommunications and Broadcasting), Section 30A.
With the user's explicit permission, Spunky uses read-only access to the user's Gmail mailbox (the gmail.readonly scope) and to their SMS inbox to scan for spam and marketing messages that were sent without consent, detect senders that violate Section 30A, and generate an evidence report the user can act on. Message content is used solely to produce the user's own spam report — it is never modified, sent, sold, or shared, and is never used for advertising or to train AI models.
